Conquering the Alps for the Children

The Deputy Chairman of the Children’s Hospital Trust, Randall Titus, will be embarking on an arduous cycle race across the Swiss Alps at the end of August, the renowned Haute Route des Alps. Randall is a keen cyclist who has decided to marry his passion for this good cause with his passion for cycling.

He has set up a donation profile with www.backabuddy.co.za and has been approaching his family and friends to donate to the Trust in lieu of his 911km cycle race from Geneva to Nice.

Funds raised will support the final expansion phase of the Parents Accommodation at the Red Cross Children’s Hospital. He calls his venture, ‘Conquering the Alps for children’. The Haute Route cycling events are ‘the highest and toughest cyclosportives in the world’. Randall has entered the fourth edition of the 2014 cycle race, which takes place from 24-30 August 2014.
