Run London’s most beautiful Half for a little life
The Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon
When: Sunday, 9 October 2016
Renowned as the most scenic 13.1 mile city marathon in the capital, the marathon meanders along with 16,000 other runners, through 4 of London’s magnicent royal parks and promises glimpses of world-famous landmarks.
But it’s more about what your half can promise others – a promise of the best possible medical care and the prospect of a bright future for a critically sick or injured child in South Africa. Most children are from impoverished communities and a third a under one-years old.
By running for a little life – you will be contributing to building a bigger and better ICU at a remarkable paediatric Hospital in Cape Town, South Africa. The Children’s Hospital Trust UK raises funds for the Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital in Cape Town – sub-Saharan Africa’s largest, stand-alone specialist hospital for children.
